Taster’s Club is a monthly alcohol subscription service, offering premium spirits shipped directly to consumers.

Prior to the redesign, the website aesthetic catered only to specific demographics and narrowed the overall target audience. The site was also built on a subpar e-commerce platform and required a better solution for long-term growth.

The Approach

The project kicked off with moodboards to establish a direction that appeals to a wider audience. A variety of product image treatments were explored to provide a flexible design for the rotation of newly curated bottles each month.

Several layouts were explored early on in this stage. With consideration to both the page layout and product presentation, the final direction combined elements from multiple first stage drafts.

Developer Handoff

Final designs were delivered to a front-end developer for the builds. Final QC and optimization for responsiveness were completed prior to launch.
